Travel Health
Do you need vaccinations?
Our Nurses can provide immunisations for Hepatitis A, Typhoid and Diphtheria/Tetanus/Polio booster if required. We can offer Hepatitis B privately (£50 each vaccine) as this is not funded by the NHS but we donot offer any other immunsations for travel purposes. If you need any other vaccination you will need to arrange an appointment with a specialist travel clinic.
Please arrange an appointment at least 6-8 weeks before departure if you need any travel vaccinations. Vaccines need time to take effect and some may require a course over several weeks.
Select the region you are travelling to find out more.
Travel Assessment
If you are travelling abroad please complete and submit the travel form in plenty of time (we recommend a minimum of 10-12 weeks) before your journey to allow time for nurses to assess your requirements and to book your appointments in plenty of time for your vaccinations to take effect. The practice is only required to offer the following vaccinations on the NHS for travel Hepatits A, Typhoid and a Diphtheria/Tetanus/Polio booster; if you require any others you will need to arrange to have these at a private travel clinic.
